GLOBAL YOUTH COALITION offers SATURATION MULTIPLICATION TRAINING (SMT) as a strategy designed to UNITE all evangelical church youth ministries within a country for the purpose of providing QUALITY YOUTH MINISTRY TRAINING with the GOAL of REACHING AND DISCIPLING all youth, ages 10-29, through relationally and meaningfully SHARING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS and MAKING DISCIPLES of all who respond in order that they GROW TOWARD MATURITY and quickly begin to DISCIPLE OTHERS resulting in MULTIPLYING MINISTRY.

The GOAL of this HIGH CALLING

People Celebrating

SMT functions as a disciple-making and multiplying strategy of the Global Youth Coalition. When a youth leader has implemented one of the training models of the GYC partner ministries, that leader can become certified to become a local, area, regional or country SMT leader. This leader or leadership team will:

  • Purposefully pursue the SMT strategy until every area/region in a country has a qualified team of certified trainers* intent upon the mission of reaching and discipling every young person.
  • Intentionally reproduce certified trainers until exponential saturation occurs.
  • Fully engage in approved training opportunities* with certified trainers that equip local church youth ministries to reach and disciple young people resulting in multiplying ministries.

9 STEPS in the TACTICAL PLAN

To form a local, area, regional and/or Country Youth Coalition (CYC), these steps describe the process to follow to develop a vibrant SMT. Either the Global Youth Coalition or a potential Country Youth Coalition leader can initiate this process.

1

A GYC representative conducts a Country Survey to identify and interview potential leaders.

2

A group of nationals, who represent as many of the five GYC ministries as possible, gather to discuss the SMT strategy and the potential of forming a Country Youth Coalition.

3

A GYC representative presents the GYC Vision, Strategy and the SMT Essentials and Beliefs.

4

GYC along with the national leaders select the Country Coordinator and the CYC Country Team.

5

The new CYC Country Team affirms each and all of the GYC Essentials and Beliefs.

6

In consultation with the GYC representative, the Country Team sets up the informal operating structure and the research and mapping in order to begin an organized approach to strategic training.

7

With a vision to develop Regional Leadership Teams (RLT’s), the Country Team identifies potential leaders to train. These leaders will receive training from one of the five GYC training partners, and then they implement that training locally. Those leaders then train other local, area and/or regional leaders—organizing and mobilizing them to conduct more trainings, in time developing Regional Leadership Teams.

8

The CYC team measures success by tracking the leaders trained, and by establishing quality and quantity goals with accountability that lead to more effective implementation and multiplication.

9

New training in regions continues to implement and multiply until 100% saturation is accomplished.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

Once you have identified your Country/Language and Training Partner, and have implemented the Strategy of one of the ministries, then you have taken the first steps in SMT. Once that occurs you can become a “trainer of trainers” in your location, with more resources available to you to equip other youth leaders.
