A.C.T.S Revolution Guide

The meaning/theme of the A.C.T.S. Revolution is the desire that we would experience a spiritual revolution like the followers of Jesus did throughout the Book of Acts. In Acts 2:41 – 3,000 people put their faith in Jesus, and in Acts 4:4 – 2,000 more people were saved after Peter healed the crippled beggar. May we also experience an Acts Revolution in our day.

But Even if He Does Not

Three Hebrew captives stood before the king of arguably the most powerful empire in the then known world (Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, approximately 606-610 BC), facing death by fire! It is a familiar Bible story found in the Book of Daniel. But who were these guys?

F.I.S.H.ing Guide

First Priority Club meetings happen at a designated time and place each week with a plan of action. The weekly meeting plan is called the Four Week Cycle and uses various acrostics like A.C.T.S., T.E.A.M., H.O.P.E., etc. But the one we are using in this Guide is called the F.I.S.H. (F.ocus, I.nspire, S.hare, H.ook).

Foundations for Life: Volume 1

Building upon the block of the Trinity, this volume speaks directly to each of us in regards to our spiritual status in our relationship with God. Understanding who we are and who we are not is critical to how we relate to God in a Biblical way, beginning now and into eternity.

Foundations for Life: Volume 2

This volume sets the initial block of the spiritual foundation for life. You will dig deep to understand who God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are and why it is so essential to understand them and relate to them personally to begin building a solid spiritual life.

Four Ministry Teams Strategy

Through Ministry Teams organized around 4 categories (Pray, Bless, Serve, Tell), young people will have the opportunity to be the Body of Christ among their peers every day and not just one meeting a week.

Jesus Wept: The Significance of Jesus’ Laments in the New Testament

As an act that fundamentally calls upon God to be faithful to God’s promises to Israel and to the church, lament in the New Testament becomes a prayer of longing for God’s kingdom, which has been inaugurated in the ministry and resurrection of Jesus, fully to come.

Keeping the Heart: How to Maintain Your Love for God

In a comprehensive and helpful manner Flavel helps us understand better what ‘keeping the heart’ means. He tells us why we should take this commission seriously and speaks about there being particular times when we need to be especially wary of being distracted from our goal. He then shows how we can go on to develop a greater ability in keeping our hearts in tune with God.

Making Disciples for Youth Ministers

Why are we finding so many youth groups full of students but void of Disciples? Maybe we should ask ourselves if we are doing the right things or are we trying to do a lot of things. A busy schedule does not equal making disciples. Believe me, I’ve tried that.

Jesus spent 95% of His time with 12 people and 5% of His time with the multitudes. He was definitely committed to making disciples.

Penetrating the Campus

Students today desperately need to be reached where they are—at school! As students face the emotional, social, and spiritual challenges of adolescence and life on their middle school or high school campuses, youth leaders can “be there” to influence their lives.

Penetrating the Campus offers youth leaders, parents, and volunteers an in-depth perspective and practical plans.

In the 1960s and 1970s, the youth pastor position was THE most sought-after career job by local churches. The success of para-church youth ministries, in reaching and discipling the teenage culture, finally forced the church to see their mistake in ignoring this new phenomenon called "teenagers...
