Two People are Better than One

Six men, representing each organization of the Global Youth Coalition, at the biannual retreat During the last week of April, the Global Youth Coalition convened in Northern Georgia, USA for their biannual in-person planning and vision meeting. This group of ministries and leaders focuses on training leaders around the world who have the desire to reach young people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
During our time together, we provided reports and worked on future plans in countries where we are currently collaborating…Kenya, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Tanzania, etc. At this time in our world, it is refreshing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside other organizations in a truly collaborative experience! It reminds me of two verses, one in the Old Testament, and one in the New Testament:
Ecclesiastes 4:9
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.
Romans 15:5-6
May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is true. When the people of God collaborate and bring together their missions, visions, and resources, the Lord blesses their work with much fruit. God is glorified in the unity of His body to accomplish His mission. Two people (or six) are certainly better than one—stronger, wiser, and filled with greater joy!
Today, I invite you to check out the Global Youth Coalition website and take time to pray for each ministry represented. God is using these organizations to reach the 2.3 billion young people in our world who still need to know Jesus as Savior and King!
